Activity Overview

• Day 1 Patrol to assemble at Leggs Camp Bombah Point at 12:30, eat lunch if required ready to start Hike at 1pm WP1.
• Hike to joes cove WP2 and back to walking track following it to overnight camp spot at Boomeri Camping Ground WP3. We are already booked in and have arranged required supervision as per NPWL requirements for under 18's.
• Day 2 Break Camp Hike to Johnsons Beach take WP4 co-ordinates and hike back to Mungo brush road continue on hike take WP 5co-ordinate at Wells Picnic area (bathroom stop etc) continue on hike to Mungo South Camp overnight WP6 Day 3 Break Camp Continue hiking stopping at WP7 Mungo Walk @ Tamboi  take co-ordinates Finishing hike at Banksia Green Wp8.
• Preparation

Patrol Leaders ( William / Ezra)Arrange Home Leader to organise Accessor(qualified person Gary Fallon) Home Leader has made visits to individual Scouts homes with parents as well. Gearlist, Menus, equipment (tents, Hike pack sleeping bags,cooking stoves (Pellets, matches, cooking utensils) basic first aide kit & practise putting up tent etc 

• Meet with Gary To Disscuss Hike (Collect Epurb from Gary and Spot from Stacey Nash)
• Permissions to Great Lakes National Park, Paid camping Sites, Permits. Notify Local Police of their intentions to hike.
• Clothing & Equipment
• sufficient underwear,spare socks,collared shirt,shorts,track suit for sleeping,jumper.
• sunscreen, hand sanitiser,mosqito repellent bushmans if possible, pencil/pen, sleeping bag,blow up pillow,bed roll or excercise mat,spare shoes suggest water shoes as they are light weight and easy to walk in.
• Broad brim hat,towel, basic toiletries, rain poncho/coat.
