Thank you for making the decision to have your child join the Scouting Movement at 1st Warners Bay Scout Group. We are an active group for young people aged 5 to 17 catering for every section of scouting Joeys, Cubs, Scouts & Venturers. 

Scouting encourages young people to become well rounded young adults who believe in their abilities and future potential, who are well equipped to face life’s challenges, who are strong leaders as well as effective team players, and who can make a constructive contribution to the community in which they live.  The scout program is a dynamic and contemporary program that is engaging and relevant to today’s youth, their families and the wider community.

The most successful Scout Groups are those where there is strong adult support in Leaders and Parent Helpers. As volunteers we are enthusiastic and dedicated men and women from all walks of life who share a love of adventure and a desire to enrich young people’s lives.

Meeting times

Joeys (5 to 8 yr olds) Thursday 5.15pm to 6.15pm

Cubs (8 to 11 yr olds) Thursday 6.30pm to 8pm

Scouts (11 to 14 yr olds) Wednesday 7pm to 8.30pm

Venturers (15 to 17 yr olds) Monday 7pm to 9pm though most weeks they meet away from the hall with other Venturers in the District
